in my summer holidays I bought some beauty and clothing items but listing all of them in this post would be too much so I decided to focus on the beauty things. As you all know, I am a junkie. I confess, I’m a total beauty and fashion victim (not fashion week but fashion weak…ha.ha).
The stuff I bought is mostly from Berlin and Munich, where I found some nice new things 🙂
So first of all some skincare products. It’s starting to get cold again and as my skin is very sensitive in the winter I had to buy some products which are more gentle and make my skin moisturized and soft.
1. Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Mask
I only tried this mask once, so I can’t really give you guys a review. It shall tighten your pores, control the oil on your skin and fight your blemishes. It felt very good on the skin, the scent is kind of minty and fresh and even if I don’t have oily skin it doesn’t dry out.
2. Cartine Huile Sèche Vitaminée
This is a body, hair and face oil enriched with vitamin A, E and beta carotin. I use it after the shower when my body isn’t completely dry – just spraying it on and work it into the skin…that’s it. Softness and a long lasting, nice smell are the results.
3. Pixi Glow Tonic
This toner is my holy grail! My boyfriend got it for me when he was in London because it’s not available in Germany…oh my lord this makes you look glowy, fresh and healthy. Without alcohol it does not dry out but tightens your pores. I’ve been trying it for two weeks now and I’m obsessed with it.
4. Dermasence Face Peeling
The face peeling by Dermasence is just awesome! It makes your skin complexion more even, full of moisture and removes dead skin cells – caution: Do not (!) rub the peeling into your skin like hell! If you don’t want your whole skin to fall off I would recommend being gentle and apply it carefully. The corns are also very big and harsh so please be careful.
Back when I was with my family in Berlin my mom, my sister and I went to the KaDeWe fashion night. There we found a little section full of nail laquer and even with free manicures. I went there (of course hahah) and got to know the designer of the brand and her line. My two favorite polishes are JMY and PAC – the nail polishes are named after airports. What I love about this is that it lasts 3-4 days and looks very shiny and nice.
Last I found these beautiful guys in Berlin. The ring is by Urban Outfitters and the bracelet is from my mom – she got it for me as a school-year-done present 🙂 It says “you make my heart smile” if anybody is wondering.
