Energizing Smoothie Bowl

Energizing Smoothie Bowl

Unfortunately I had (and still have) a little cold because of the Oktoberfest here in Munich…but I really want to recover fast because of my trip to Asia next Monday! So all I do is drinking tea, relaxing in bed, working and creating stuff for you guys 🙂

When you’re sick the most important things are to rest and eat vitamins! That’s why I wanted to share a little tip with you today on how I get my vitamins asap.

Being honest…I wanted to show you one of my favorite smoothies but my blender (that we bought literally 3 weeks ago) decided to break – you can imagine me being super angry because it was too thick for a smoothie and not blended very well. That’s why I decided to turn it into a smoothie bowl which is also super yummy but more a snack than a smoothie.

The ingredients you need:

1 banana

1/2 avocado

1/2 mango

hand full of baby spinach

1 1/2 table spoons of protein powder

(to make it more fluid) add as much milk/water/soy milk/whatever you like as you want

Tip: Always put the side with the pip back into the fridge so the avocado or mango won’t turn brown (also leave the pip in your guacamole until you serve it). And also cut away the brown or black parts of your avocado 🙂

When all the cutting is done slowly add all the fruits into the mixer/blender until all is one beautiful green smoothie haha. Btw for all of you who are wondering: No I (personally) don’t taste the spinach…maybe a little bit of the avocado which makes everything more creamy. Just that you know which kind of vitamins (and other things in big amounts) they contain:

mango: vitamin C & vitamin E

banana: potassium & magnesium

avocado: vitamin A & good fats

baby spinach: iron & nitrates

As toppings I used Goji berries, sesame, chia seeds (also full of antioxidants, proteins, magnesium etc.), chocolate cereals and the best almond mousse. Voilà here’s your perfect healthy vitamin bomb which tastes like banana and mango and all of your toppings! I love eating this one while watching my favorite series (click here when you want to know more about them)

If you also tried it I’d love to see some snaps from you! My username is emeluschkaa.

Enjoy 🙂
